FREE BEREAVEMENT SUPPORT SERVICE 365 DAYS A YEAR 24 HOURS A DAY

Pompas Fúnebres Ibiza is launching a free psychological support and bereavement counselling service in Ibiza and Formentera, an initiative that will provide help in person, by telephone or video call to individual families after the loss of a loved one. We estimate that we will provide telephone support to more than 200 families a year.

Bereavement support for families on Ibiza and Formentera

Our team of psychologists contacts the family three weeks after the death to inform them of the psychological support and that it is free of charge; two or three months later, another follow-up telephone contact is made, and if the family wishes, there is a third contact after six months.

The psychological support and bereavement counselling service is completely anonymous and confidential and will be offered to the next of kin of the deceased that the family designates for follow-up after the loss of a loved one.

Follow-up calls are made for the purpose of containment, and if the family needs a video call or face-to-face visit within the one-year period, 3 free sessions are available to one of the family members, each lasting 45 minutes.

Relatives who prefer to be accompanied in person or by video call can request up to three appointments with an expert bereavement psychologist, for which Pompas Fúnebres Ibiza has the collaboration of psychological centres in Ibiza, Sant Antoni and Sant Eulària

For face-to-face or video-call psychological support, the protocol is activated three weeks after the death and ends after one year.

SOCIAL COMMITMENT TO THE SOCIETY OF IBIZA AND FORMENTERA

All family and friends have access to a 24-hour free telephone number, which will always be answered by psychology professionals and bereavement support experts. It is a free telephone service with unlimited calls and available from the first day of the death.
